“Is he evangelical?” asked John.
“What does that even mean nowadays John” said James.
“Ok then, is he complementarian?” asked John.
“Does his church sing Getty or Bethel?”
“What’s his view on N T Wright?”
“Is he emerging?”
“Ok, ok” said Jesus, loudly.
“To be on the safe side, let’s issue a press release distancing ourselves. The usual thing please Matthew; say he isn’t part of a ‘Gospel’ church.”
